Celtic Tales at the Cottage Bar

We ventured to the Cottage Bar in Salthill to hear a storyteller spin some Celtic yarns for us as we ate dinner...

The storyteller's name was Rab Swannock Fulton - a Scottish lad who had the good sense to move to the Emerald Isle a few years back...

Here I am with the storyteller at the end of the performance. After telling tales about the wee folk all evening, he seemed quite thrilled to meet a actual leprechaun!

  1. I love the photo of me and the Leprechaun - I've been here ten years now and finally i've met one!

Thanks a lot for comign along to the show. All you lads and lassies made it a great fun night. I had even more folk in the week after, so not only where all the seats taken but all the floor too.

My nexy session on wed 22nd July is going to be very dark tales - murder, lust, death, etc - from Ireland and Scotland. So it might interest the more gruesome minded of yi.

Finally, the broadcast date for the RTE Nationwide feature on my Celtic Tales storytelling sessions is Friday 24th July. If you miss the broadcast, don't worry. After transmission it will then be put on RTE's website at http://www.rte.ie/news/nationwide

    All the best - Rab
